Shafique had scuffled with uniformed traffic cops on January 12 at PIDC over parking row. Yesterday, police took the suspect into custody after his bail expired.
The suspect was produced before a local court today, where the magistrate sent him into 14-day judicial custody. The court ordered the investigation officer (IO) to submit his report within five days.
Police booked Shafique for confronting the cops, with terrorism clauses also included in the FIR against him.
