A spokesman of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a statement said that Pakistan Air Force jet fighters attacked the militants’ hideouts in Dattakhel area of North Waziristan region. Thirty-five suspected militants were killed and their three hideouts and large quantity of explosives were destroyed in air-strikes.
A military offensive in North Waziristan tribal region, codenamed ‘Operation Zarb-i-Azb’ has been in its third month to clear the region from Taliban militancy.
