LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Wednesday announced its candidates for national and provincial assembly seats from Punjab for upcoming General elections 2018.
NA-58 will be represented by PPP former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Gujar Khan-Rawalpindi. Former federal minister Qamar Zaman Kaira will contest from NA-70 Gujrat.
In NA-114 Jhang, Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat is contesting in upcoming elections 2018, Mohammad Afzal Khokhar will contest from NA-52 Islamabad.
Fakhar Umar Laleka will be standing from NA-86 Mandi Bahauddin, whereas Asif Bashir Bhaagat will be running for NA-85 seat.
PPP Punjab area president Rai Shahjahan Bhatti and Ghulam Fareed Kathia will contest from NA-118 & NA-148 respectively.
Against the powerful landlord family of Khushab, the PPP has fielded Agha Naseem Abbas in NA-93 against Sumaira Malik of PML-N and Malik Umar Aslam Awan of the PTI.
