The SBP spokesperson told media persons the IMF had laid out certain conditions to the SBP for improvement of performance. Three of their prescribed conditions have already been met, he told.
The demands are; formation of risk management committee, publishing of minutes of state meetings and formation of advisory committee for consultation on monetary policy.
He informed that the SBP had formed a committee for banks in connection to risk management which is already working.
