Replying queries of the members in Punjab Assembly during the question hour provincial home minister confirmed the presence of the abducted sons of Yousuf Raza Gillani and Salman Taseer in Afghanistan. The minister said that the government has been in contact with the Afghan authorities for safe recovery of kidnapped Shahbaz Taseer and Ali Haider Gillani.
The minister said that 324 kidnappings for ransom committed during last two years. He claimed that the abductors belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
He informed the house that more than 10,000 surveillance cameras will be installed in Lahore soon.
