A clip of Saudi actor was shared by many social media users in his country after he attempted to take a selfie with Saudi king, only to be pushed away by security guards protecting the royal dignitary.
In a clip which was uploaded on the YouTube on Dec 9 shows actor Habib al-Habib, who is best known for his comic appearances in the local media, was shown putting his arm around the Saudi ruler before having it swiftly and firmly removed by a member of the King’s entourage.
The video racked up over 200,000 views.
A Saudi website reported that the incident took place at the Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmed Cultural Center in Kuwait, during the Saudi King’s recent Gulf states’ tour.
