ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to join probe in the Al-Qadir Trust case, ARY News reported on Saturday.
According to the details, IHC issued a written order granting Imran Khan Interim bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case. The order stated that if PTI Chief Imran Khan obstructs the investigation, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) can file plea to revoke his bail, and he may be presented before the investigation team whenever necessary.
The order stated that the stance of Advocate General and the Additional Attorney General regarding former prime minister and PTI chief Imran Khan ‘cannot get relief due to Article 245’ is offensive.

The court order further stated that this stance seeks to violate the fundamental rights that form the basis of a democratic and Islamic state.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) also issued a notice to the Attorney General, requesting assistance on an important constitutional issue concerning access to justice under the enforcement of Article 245.
The court stated that the Advocate General and the Additional Attorney General also raised objections to the forum of the Accountability Court and Imran Khan has submitted the Supreme Court’s orders to the High Court.
The objection of the Advocate General and the Additional Attorney General is not valid as the High Court has the authority to hear the case under Section 561-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
