DUBAI: The drafting of national and international cricketers for the second edition of Pakistan’s domestic Twenty20 competition Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held in Dubai on Wednesday (today), ARY News reported.

Five franchises of the illustrious cricketing league Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars will select a wide range of players placed in five categories.
Pakistani and international cricketers from across the world have agreed to take part in the league. The players have been placed in five categories namely Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging.
Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick in the draft followed by Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.

The cricketers will exhibit their talent in the competition which has grabbed the cricketing fans with its excitement and entertainment.
Talent hunt programs and trials to include new cricketing stars in their respective teams.
The first edition of PSL was a major hit and the riveting moments which brought flavour to the whole competition. More of these exhilarating moments can be expected in the cricketing tournament.
The opening ceremony of the PSL’s second edition will be held in Dubai and the closing ceremony will take place in Lahore.
