All with Hamid Raza, not with Imran Khan: Faisal Raza Abidi

In an exclusive interview with ARY News, he claimed that PM Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif had arguments when operation Zarb-e-Azb started and it was army’s decision to start operation which angered Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar.

Abidi was of the view that nation shall not forget that PML-N, Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) were Taliban’s favourite parties during 11 May elections, if they can rule us, what is wrong with him asking for the military to rule democratically (using the term ‘Jamhoori Martial Law).

He maintained that Nawaz Sharif was not only releasing Taliban prisoners making mockery of martyrs of Pakistan but was making every possible effort for successful talks with Taliban despite their terrorist activities.

About his future strategy, he said that he would go along with Hamid Raza led Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) and their decisions. As for Imran Khan and his ‘Azadi March’, he declined to comment, saying that ” Inhone to haal hi me ye sb qbool kia hai” (He has only recently ’embraced’ our rhetoric).
