BRISBANE: Head Coach of Pakistan cricket team Mickey Arthur has blamed the bowlers for the side’s clean sweep in the test series to Australia, ARY News reported.
Arthur — in his report on the performance of the team in the test series, submitted to Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shahryar Khan– has hold the bowlers responsible for the team’s whitewash against Australia.
He stated that the bowlers did not bowl on the correct line and length.
PCB chief has hinted that he will take strong steps following the team’s performance.
He said that a training camp will be set up under the supervision of the head coach following this year’s edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The board will look the new talent for the team through the domestic cricket, he added.
According to reports, PCB chairman has given green signal to former one-day captain Salman Butt for selection in the national team. Butt and teammates Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, were banned for their involvement in the spot-fixing scandal.
