Earlier today, PM Nawaz Sharif left for Turkey on one-day private visit to attend the wedding of Turkish President Recip Tayyip Erdogan’s daughter. He was accompanied by his wife Kalsoom Nawaz.
The Pakistan premier is expected to seek advice from Erdogan over the political stalemate resulting from the Panama Papers disclosures. Sharif has long been an admirer of Erdogan’s leadership in handling challenges in his country.
On Thursday, Nawaz Sharif had returned from an official visit to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, where he had gone to attend the inauguration of the CASA-1000 energy project.
