MALAKAND: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has suspended his campaign and political activities for two days in solidarity with the recent terror attacks in Mastung and Bannu in which scores of precious lives were lost.
Bilawal cancelled his political gathering in Malakand, but still reached there saying he would spend time with political workers.
Addressing political workers, he expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the recent terror attacks, and said he has suspended his political campaigns in solidarity.
“I am deeply sorrow over the terror attacks.I cancelled the Malakand rally, but still want to spend with the workers.
“In solidarity I have limited all my political activities,” he said, announcing to suspended election campaign for two days.
He thanked the people of Malakand for welcoming him, despite cancelling the rally, and said he feels the pain of the families of Mastung attack victims.
He said that he has a close connection with the Malakand, and even Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto served the area, and lands from feudals were handed over to the peasants.
He said that he will hold a political gathering in Malakand after elections, and vowed to return to the area and solve their problems.
