Blast in Islamabad hotel injures seven

A blast in federal capital’s privately owned hotel sent shock waves in the city but according to police, the blast took place due to gas leakage.

The blast injured seven people including a woman while damaging ten rooms of the hotel and partially affecting some walls.

The moment of the blast saw people jumping from hotel walls to save their lives, taking the explosion as a terrorist attack. Bomb Disposal Squad reached the spot and collected evidence.

BDS suggested that the explosion was a result of gas leakage in a pipeline.

It is pertinent to note here that all major cities of Pakistan are on security high alert after the start of military operation against terrorists in North Waziristan Agency.
