According to details, four boys of a family aged between eight to 12 years drowned at Paradise Point. The divers at the beach managed to rescue three of the four boys from the raging waves of the sea.
A rescued boy lost his life while on the way to Civil Hospital for medical attendance. The rescue teams have continued the search for the fourth untraced boy.
It should be noted that Section 144 has been imposed at the beaches of Karachi after weather forecasts for Cyclone Ashobaa in the Arabian Sea, which later moved towards the Oman Coast.
Forty people were drowned last year while merrymaking at Karachi beaches during Eid holidays.
