He was addressing a press conference here along with Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi.
While answering a question, Nisar said that no one will be stopped to stage a rally in F-9 Park in Islamabad but warned there should be no sit-in and participants should disperse peacefully.
He said that operation in Karachi was being conducted by the Police and Rangers, and if the MQM had any reservations then they should come forward and it will be duly addressed.
Earlier, Chaudhry Nisar addressed an anti-narcotics conference at the UN Headquarters where he said more efforts need to be made to curb drug smuggling across the world.
