The ISPR spokesperson Maj Gen Asim Salim Bajwa on Wednesday announced via Twitter the convicts were involved attacks on girls schools and anti-polio vaccinator teams, jailbreak and killing of citizens.
He said the military courts handed death sentence to five terrorists, while one was sentenced to life.

The convicts were involved in Bannu jailbreak, sectarian killings in Quetta and assassination of a police officer and a lawyer in Karachi and Lahore respectively.
They also waged attacks on girls schools in anti-polio vaccinators in Khyber Agency.
The ones whose death sentence was confirmed included Sabir Shah, Asad Ali, Hafiz Usman, Tahir and Fateh Khan, while another convict Qari Amin was sentenced to life in prison for facilitating these terrorists.
