PESHAWAR: The funeral prayer of 11 security officials who embraced martyrdom in Swat suicide blast was offered in Peshawar on Sunday.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak, corps commander Peshawar and other military and senior civil officials attended the Namaz-e-Janaza.

Later, the Army chief also visited CMH Peshawar and met injured of the incident.
It is apropos to mention that in an email sent to journalists, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan had later claimed responsibility for the attack on the army unit’s sports area on Saturday.
