Former prime minister Gillani appeared before the anti-corruption court with his lawyers.
The court approved a bail petition filed by Yousuf Raza Gillani, seeking bail in 11 corruption cases against him.
The judge ordered the accused to appear before the court in the hearing on October 12.
Later, tallking to mediapersons, Gillani said that he had faced court cases in the past and facing cases again now.
He termed the court’s decision a ‘moral victory’ for him.
Farooq H. Naik, the counsel of Yousuf Raza Gillani, talking to media outside the court claimed that the FIA has registered 23 false cases against the former prime minister, who is being subjected to political victimization.
