The supermodel was taken into custody on March 14, 2015, after Customs officials at Islamabad airport recovered US$ 5,08,600 stashed in her luggage, ahead of boarding a flight to Dubai.
Ayyan faced legal proceedings for over a year now and was finally ordered to pay a fine equal to amount recovered from him in the currency smuggling case.
Customs Collector Ali Raza on Tuesday ordered confiscating the amount recovered from the supermodel along with imposing a fine worth Rs 5.5 crore on her.
It was further said in the verdict that the accused did not appear before the court for eight months despite repeated issuance of summons to her.
The court also ordered the co-accused Mumtaz and Awais to pay Rs 5 lac each as fine.
