ISLAMABAD: Bureau Chief ARY News Sabir Shakir on Thursday revealed that federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz was barred from speaking during a high-level party huddle for having being a minister in the government of former dictator Pervez Musharraf.
During ‘The Reporters’ program, Sami Ibrahim asked why in your opinion was Daniyal not allowed to speak during a PML-N meeting at Punjab House on Tuesday when he tried to say something.

Some MNAs even raised objection that how could he be their spokesman who once used to support Musharraf, Ibrahim said adding that PML-N president Nawaz Sharif was also present on this occasion and said no word in Daniyal’s favor.
“Is this a reaction against those who were accomodated in the PML-N,” he asked.
Sabir Shakir said there were several things about Daniyal, first of all he had been a key minister in Musharraf’s cabinet plus he was also reportedly heard speaking against defending Sharif family’s case in public.
“Deep inside he is not much happy from the Nawaz government,” he said and claimed that Nawaz and his daughter also heard reports about Daniyal’s speaking against them privately.
After some recordings of the federal minister were received by Maryam, they had realised that Daniyal was no more much loyal to them, therefore, by design they got him discredited, said the bureau chief ARY News.
