Edhi Foundation’s spokesman, speaking to Arynews.tv, confirmed that a woman, identified as Manzoora Bibi, was brought apparently ‘dead’ to Edhi mortuary at 8am.
We receive over couple of dozen bodies a day and that particular body had just started being given bath when she came back to life, he told.
He said the woman’s ‘body’ was brought from Dumba Goth neighborhood. “Her age was in early 50s.”
He said the family of the woman said she was not properly checked up at a hospital, hence “we believed she is dead.”
Mr. Kazmi also said the woman’s family was poor therefore they brought the body for final rites and burial.
