In a dramatic body camera footage, the police can be seen responding to the firing at Louisville Bank.

Five people were killed and eight were wounded in an attack, where a bank employee opened fire on his co-workers and then fired at police officers. 

The dramatic body camera footage of the police officers shows the front of the bank where the suspect was waiting for the police to arrive.

The police personnel attempts to reach the suspect but he opened fire and broke the huge front glass of the bank.

The broken glass then allowed the police personnel to fire and kill the suspect. The police personnel moves forward on the stairs and shouted that the suspect is dead. 

The shooter live-streamed the entire Louisville bank shooting online.

Earlier, a 23-year-old bank employee armed with a rifle shot dead five colleagues and wounded nine other people at his workplace in Louisville, US on Monday while live-streaming the attack on social media, police said.

The gunman was fatally shot at the scene, Louisville police said. It was unclear whether he was slain by police or took his own life. The incident marked the latest in a long series of mass shootings in the US.

Louisville police identified the shooter as Connor Sturgeon, who joined the downtown branch of the Old National Bank as a full-time employee last year.
