KARACHI: A driver laid down his life to protect his employer in Karachi’s Boast Basin roundabout, reported ARY News.
Robbers in an attempt to rob a woman seated at the back of a car being chauffeured were met with some resistance which resulted in the looters opening fire, killing one.
The 35 year old driver belonging to Tharparkar was shot by the thieves after the woman resisted robbery he came to her defence during the struggle.
The deceased was married a few days prior to the incident.
Postmortem of the dead determined that he was shot at from the back with the bullet piercing through his chest.
