ISLAMABAD: A bench of the Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday adjourned hearing of a case regarding alleged misappropriation in the party funds of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) till March 22, ARY News reported.
A bench of the ECP headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza Khan heard the PTI funding misappropriation case today.
The counsel of petitioner Akbar Babar informed the court that they have received the copy of an order of the high court for daily hearing of the petition.
The election commission adjourned the hearing till March 22, as the lawyer representing Imran Khan was absent from the hearing.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI chief Imran Khan yesterday dropped hints of launching a fresh protest this year against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
