Electricity prices decrease after coal-based power generation: minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday said that electricity prices decrease after power generation through coal.

Addressing participants of a management course, the federal minister said relocation of Chinese industrial units to Pakistan will create job opportunities in the country.

He further said the world’s leading financial institutions have started investing in Pakistan following restoration of peace and political stability in the country. He said the economic growth has reached up to five percent.
