KARACHI: Police today foiled a bank robbery attempt in North Nazimabad area, ARY News reported.
Robbers attempted to enter a private bank when police officials, deployed at the bank, moved to stop them. Both the sides resorted to firing.
Amid exchange of fire, two robbers who sustained bullet wounds fled the scene.
Police went after the robbers and searched them in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. They found one of the robbers in the hospital and arrested him.
They said search for another culprit was underway.
