LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday said that comprehensive roadmap was being implemented to provide patients with modern medical facilities.
In his message on the ‘International Health Day’, CM Usman Buzdar vowed that they would provide patients with best medical facilities by bringing positive changes in traditional healthcare system and added that these reforms would surely bring long term effects.
According to a statement released from his office, Usman Buzdar said that healthy life was the greatest blessing of Allah as hale and hearty people put together healthy society.
The chief minister said that his mission was to upgrade health sector and to provide standard medical facilities to patients in ‘Naya Pakistan’.

Furthermore he added that a comprehensive program of reforms had been on track to make health sector in line with the expectations of public and goals had been set in accordance with the modern requirements of health care system.
Health Insaf Card Program had been started for the districts of South Punjab, whose scope will gradually be spread across the province, the chief minister said and added that this was a revolutionary step and through this card every family can avail Rs. 20,000 up to 7 million for medical facilities.
CM Buzdar said that he himself was monitoring implementation of health reform program and paying surprise visits to hospital in order to ensure delivery of standard facility.
He said that the basic aim of observing this day was to spread awareness among masses about the importance of health.
