Vawda, who is a vocal critic of all PTI opponents, claimed that at least four armed riders opened fire on his car near Delhi Colony while he was returning from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office.
The PTI leader maintained that the attackers opened fire on his car from both sides but he survived the attack because his car was bullet-proof.
“It is I who speak against MQM, Peoples Party and PML-N. I was returning after submitting evidence in NAB against land grabbing when they opened fire on my car. These tactics cannot stop me,” Vawda told ARY News.
Fellow PTI leader Imran Ismail, who was with Vawda during the attack claimed that at least six shots were fired upon their car, a FV Jeep but they remained safe.

CM Sindh takes notice
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the attack on PTI leader and has ordered Inspector General Sindh A.D. Khawaja to submit an inquiry report.
