ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed all large taxpayer units, corporate regional tax offices and regional tax offices to extend office hours for Friday and on Saturday to facilitate the taxpayers in payment of duties and taxes and filing of income tax returns.
According to the details, they had been directed to extend office hours on Friday till 8 pm and on Saturday till 10 pm.

Earlier, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), on March 16, had extended the deadline of filing of income tax returns and statements for the tax year 2018 until March 31.
According to a press release issued by FBR, the decision had been taken on demand of various trade bodies, organizations and other taxpayers.
All those individuals who had not yet filed their tax returns, had been urged to take advantage of this extension.
