FIA asks former PM to return donated necklace within three days

According to details, FIA has warned former Prime Minister for action if the necklace denoted by the Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan wasn’t returned.

Yousaf Raza Gilani has admitted that the necklace is in possession.

In an interview to local media Gilani said he had close ties with the Erdogan family and Mrs Erdogan was like a sister to him.

“The necklace belongs to my sister and is with me”, he admitted.

Briefing

about the reason for keeping necklace in his custody, the former Prime Minister said that at the time of her visit during 2010 flood, the Turkish first lady decided to denote the necklace during her visit at flood-relief camp in Sindh where a couple was getting married.

But at their visit they were surprised to see that eight couples were getting married. Therefore, a certain amount of money was donated to each couple.
