According to railway authorities, the explosive device was found during maintenance work on a railway track at a toll plaza between Rajanpur and Fazilpur.
Karachi bound Khushaal Khan Khattak Express was stopped at Jampur after the bomb threat.
Bomb Disposal Squad said that the five kilogram bomb was trekked down in the ground and was connected via remote control. The bomb was defused shortly.
