According to intelligence sources, law enforcement agencies raided the city’s Thokar Niaz Baig area after intelligence personnel intercepted terrorists’ communication.
Four terrorists and their facilitator were arrested in the raid. They were shifted to an unknown location for investigation.
Latest weapons and suicide jackets were also recovered from the saboteurs during the raid, sources added.
It is being said that the militants were planning to carry out a major terrorist attack in Punjab’s capital.
