In line with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s promise to allow public access to state buildings, a couple of weeks ago the palatial Punjab Governor House opened its doors to the general public on Sunday.
Visitors were allowed to enter the building from Kashmir Road Gate after showing their national identity cards and going through necessary security check.
A great number of families gathered outside Kashmir Road Gate to have firsthand experience of the spacious state building and its lush green lawns.
The Punjab Governor House will remain open from 10:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening on every Sunday.
