Hafeez likely to miss ODIs, T20s against West Indies

According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources, Mohammad Hafeez is currently undergoing a rehabilitation program and will require upto a week to become fit for the team.

He will undergo a fitness test in the third week of September.

Hafeez may be selected to for the test series against West Indies if he will pass the fitness test.

It should be noted that the batsman was ruled out of the team during the England tour after suffering an injury.

West Indies will play three Twenty20 internationals, three one day matches and three-test matches in Pakistan’s home series in the United Arab Emirates in September.

The first and second T20 matches will be played on 23rd and 24th September in Dubai whereas the third and final 20-over game of the series will be contested at Abu Dhabi on September 27th.

The two teams will then play three ODIs starting from 30th September in Sharjah. The second 50-over game will be played at the same venue on 2nd October and the final match of the series will be played at Abu Dhabi on 5th October.
