The case was heard by a three member bench headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja.
Attorney General informed the court in the hearing that Ahmad Faiz has been apprehended in Saudi Arabia.
The bench said that the suspect should be brought back in the country within 48 hours on which the government asked for more time. Justice Jawwad Khwaja said that they should inform the court when they could brought back Ahmad Faiz in the country. If they fail to do so they should state in written form that they are helpless, Justice Khawaja said.
On the other hand, Lahore High Court has announced interim verdict in the Hajj Quota Case.
The petitioner stated in his plea that the quota is being given to favorites, which hikes the cost of the pilgrimage.
