Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said on Wednesday that PTI chief Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi should be sent abroad, ARY News reported.
While talking to the ARY News programme ‘11th Hour’, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said he would not get involved in discussing the personal life of Imran Khan or his character assassination. “In my opinion, Imran Khan and his wife should be sent abroad.”
He said that slogans had been chanted for the NAB-Niazi nexus from 25 July 2018 to 10 April 2022, however, the anti-corruption watchdog was not under the control of Imran Khan.

Commenting on his exit from PTI, Chohan said he had requested Imran Khan for a meeting multiple times. He added that he consistently gave statements till May 14 to reject Khan’s involvement in May 9 incidents.
He complained that Imran Khan did not even mention his name after being released from jail on May 12. “A meeting was held on May 14 but the PTI chief did not mention our names. In May 14 meeting, Imran Khan did not listen to my opinions again.”
Chohan vowed that he will continue his struggle against the corrupt rulers.

Regarding his future plan, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said, “I will never return to PTI nor join Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.” He also ruled out the possibility of joining Maulana Fazlur Rehman-led Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F).
However, he said, “Jahangir Tareen is a decent man and I respect him.”
Yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) suffered another huge blow as former Punjab minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan quit the party over May 9 violence and “lack of sympathy” from party chairman Imran Khan.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the former Punjab minister expressed grief over the May 9 riots, saying that they should not confront with state and its institutions.
Fayyaz ul Chohan said that except for him, no one else in the party opposed the ‘policy of violence’. “There was no one who could make Imran Khan understand that politics should be done with patience and tolerance,” he added.
Chohan noted that he was the only to oppose the ‘policy of violence’ as “this is why I was sidelined in the party for the last one year.” “I tried to make Imran understand that we are followers of Quaid-e-Azam and told him to stop this confrontation against the state and institutions,” he added.
The former minister said that the PTI chief did not utter a single word of sympathy for him, despite the number of sacrifices he had given for the party. “Someone had told Imran that I support the army a lot,” he alleged.
