Int'l auditor confirms tampering of TV ratings by a private media house

According to details, the PBA for the sake of impartial investigations into the matter acquired services of an international auditor, which confirmed Medialogic’s claims of tampering of TV ratings by Express media group.

The auditor said, “Medialogic complaint of TV ratings’ manipulation by the Express group was justified”.

A meeting of the PBA Board of Directors reviewed the report of international auditor today.

According to PBA, Express media group failed to file its reply in response to a show-cause notice served to it earlier, at which the broadcasting authority gave another ten days to the media house for submitting its reply.

Moreover, the membership of Express media group will remain suspended in the PBA until the issue is not addressed.
