Earlier, Samina Baig, who is the youngest Muslim woman in the world to climb Mount Everest was forced to call of her plan to climb K-2, after suffering an injury while climbing. Mirza Ali, in is message made the announcement.

On July 17, while climbing to camp-1, Samina Baig complained of severe pain on the left side of her neck, extending to the shoulder. The pain gradually increases which led them to postpone their bid to summit the second highest mountain in the world.
Later, Samina Baig went to DHQ Hospital Skardu for medical examination.

The doctors informed that Samina Baig has soft tissue injuries and advised her three weeks rest.
