However, later on Saturday night the MQM’s Rabita Committee appealed public to keep observe strike till 1pm and resume their activities after the specified time.

MQM Rabita Committee’s meeting yesterday expressed disappointment over absence of development projects in the budget, non-resolution of public issues and unemployment in urban Sindh, despite the submission of a shadow budget and written recommendations by MQM.While terming the budget as ‘hateful, biased and anti-urban Sindh’, the party called for a shutter-down strike on Sunday.
