Karachi: Police recover three missing schoolgirls from Liaquatabad

KARACHI: Three schoolgirls, who had mysteriously disappeared two days ago, were recovered in a police operation from Liaquatabad area on Saturday night, ARY News reported.

The girls identified as Bismah, Iqra and Rabia had gone missing from Saudabad area two days ago and the complaint was filed in Saudabad Police Station. They were recovered by the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) in an operation at night.

Five youngsters were arrested following the filing of the missing case. The authorities, during the investigation found out that the girls were texting the boys for the past year.

The arrested suspects claim that the girls fled their house after getting tired of being tortured by their family members. One of the girl’s relatives had asked the authorities to include the school administration in the investigation.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah had taken notice of the missing case and had ordered the concerned authorities to recover the school girls as soon as possible.
