Karachi: Seventeen suspects rounded up in targeted operations

According to details, a suspected Lyari gangster identified as Tahir alias Killer was rounded up following an encounter in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area. Police recovered arms and hand grenades from the arrested suspect.

On the other hand, two Lyari gangsters identified as Younus and Shaban Baloch were nabbed by Kalri Police and Baghdadi Police respectively. It is said that the arrested gangsters were affiliated with Baba Ladla Group.

Police arrested a gangster affiliated with Uzair Baloch group named Inayat Kachhi from Lyari. Illegal weapons were also seized from the nabbed suspect.

Moreover, Ittehad Town Police arrested three suspected criminals named Hassan Nawaz alias Babu, Ali Shahab and Ali Kazmi in two different raids. Arms and two stolen motorcycles were recovered from the suspects.

Four gamblers were also taken into custody in a raid carried out in Ittehad Town.
