KARACHI: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah on Saturday demanded resignation from Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan over dispute between stakeholders of Dawn Leaks issue, ARY News reported.
He said what came to surface regarding Dawn Leaks was remorseful. The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR)’s tweet shows that the military forces have disdained to accept the government decision on the Newsgate, he added.
“This is rational that the decision is made to save somebody,” he said while seconding Army’s reservation.
In a statement earlier, Khursheed Shah had anticipated that the government would make low-ranked government employees scapegoats to wind up the issue.

He said following the difference between military and civil leadership Nisar should resign from his post.
Referring to the joint investigation team (JIT) formed by Supreme Court in Panama Leaks case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family he said, in presence of the prime minister, decision of any commission or JIT could not come out justifiable.
Earlier today, through a notification issued by secretariat of the prime minister, Special Assistant to PM on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi was dismissed over the Newsgate scandal.
Pakistan Army rejected the notification and said, “Notification on Dawn Leak is incomplete and not in line with recommendations by the Inquiry Board. Notification is rejected.”
