Kidnapping for ransom case filed against PTI MPA in Multan

According to police officials, 13 persons including the PTI MPA have been booked in the kidnapping case of a youth namely Muneer.

The accused had demanded 15 million rupees ransom from the family for safe release of abductee Muneer. The family transferred 12 million rupees as ransom money in the bank account of Zaheerudding MPA, police officials said.

However, Zaheerudding has called the charges against him as false and fabricated and termed the case an effort of the political opponents to malign him in the constituency.
