According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, unverified SIMs will be blocked from tomorrow.
So far, 7.7 million SIMs have been blocked as they were not re-verified through biometric process.
PTA Chairman Ismail Shah has said the SIMs blocked because of non-verification, will be reactivated upon biometric verification even after the today’s deadline.
Meanwhile, PTA has also laid down procedure for verification of SIMs of Overseas Pakistanis.
