Maryam hit on head by cameraman at Lahore hospital

LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, was accidentally hit on the head with a camera by one of the cameramen who gathered at the Lahore Hospital to film her visit her father undergoing treatment there, reported ARY News.

A large number of cameramen lined up at the entrance to the hospital to make videos of her enter the medical facility. As she alighted from her car and entered the gate she was knocked over the head as cameramen jostled for good positions.

She visits her father on a daily basis.

Last week, the personal physician of incarcerated prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that the medical board formed by the Punjab government will take a decision on conducting angiography of the patient.

Dr Adnan said this after meeting Nawaz at Jinnah Hospital.

He said that the medical board and Allama Iqbal Medical College Principal Dr Arif Tajammul were authorised to give final recommendations regarding the health of Nawaz Sharif.

He added that they will follow the decision made by the medical board for Nawaz’s angiography. He said that the government will be responsible if Nawaz Sharif’s health condition worsened.
