Tamgha-i-Imtiaz nominee Mehwish Hayat has an inspiring message for her fans

Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat, who is due to receive Tamgha-i-Imtiaz on Pakistan day for her exemplary acting in various Pakistani movies, has taken it to Twitter with an inspiring message.

She has appeared in Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani and other Pakistani movies in challenging roles.

On Wednesday, she tweeted that she was truly overwhelmed on being nominated for the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence).

She went on to tell girls who see her as a role model that she could achieve anything in this world if they tried.

Veteran actor Shaan Shahid also congratulated her on being nominated for the award, which would be conferred upon her on Pakistan Day on March 23rd.

Then there were Hayat’s fans, who appeared more than jubilant on her nomination.

The fans even included some senior citizens, who found her performance to be on par with the performers of the bygone era, which are still regarded as classics.

Hayat also thanked Shaan for the praise, saying that words of appreciation coming from a “legend” like him meant a lot!
