He made the statement while speaking in the National Assembly session on Friday.
The federal minister recommended the name of former cricketer Majid Khan for the position of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
“Bowling is performing but the batting department has completely failed,” Pirzada said.
“There are changes being made in the cricket board. I hope the situation will improve,” he added.

It should be named that Shahid Afridi stepped down as skipper of Pakistan’s Twenty20 side following the team’s poor performance in the World T20 in India this year and Sarfraz Ahmed was named his successor.
Pakistan had only managed to beat Bangladesh in the tournament and were knocked out following losses to arch-rivals India, New Zealand and Australia.
