Mitchell Johnson taunts Kohli, trolls Indian fan

In his latest tweet, targeting Indian fan this time too, has drawn him to focus of  cricket followers on Twitter.

Johnson tweeted his top five batsmen in the ongoing World T20: England’s Joe Root, India’s MS Dhoni, New Zealand’s Kane Willamson, South Africa’s AB De Villiers and Australia’s Steve Smith.

However, one of the ‘die-hard’ Virat Kohli fans pointed out why Kohli and Amla were among his favourites.

Mitchell responded by acknowledging Amla’s class, making no mention of Kohli.

Now with India set to take on Australia in the virtual quarterfinal on Sunday, the rivalry of the two biggies in world cricket comes to the fore yet again. Johnson won’t be on the field to bowl to Kohli – since he’s retired – but that hasn’t stopped him from taking a dig at Kohli.

After Kohli’s comments in the press conference on Saturday where the Indian batsman said he thrives under pressure and if the Aussie players have a go at him, it only ends up egging him on to perform better, Johnson took to Twitter and responded by highlighting ‘Kohli went missing during the World Cup semifinal against Australia’.
