KARACHI: Political parties of Sindh started contacting each other to form alliance against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to oppose the third amendment in local government act, ARY News reported.
In this regard leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Muslim League- Functional (PML-F) have met on Monday at the residence of Jaam Madad Ali.
Earlier, MQM has announced to file a petition against this amendment and conducted a protest rally from Sindh assembly to Press Club. The protesters were holding play cards that read different statements and slogans against the third amendment in local government act by the government of Sindh.
While talking to media MQM leader Syed Sardar Ahmed declared the third amendment as illegal and unconstitutional.
Furthermore, Khawaja Izhar Ul Hassan also condemned the move by saying that the government of Sindh is interceding with the law and creating the divide in urban and rural Sindh by issuing such ordinance.
