MQM minister bemoans split in Sindh health department

The minister, who belongs to Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM), moaned that he was not even consulted before a decision was taken concerning his ministry. He expressed strong reservation against handing over of primary healthcare centers to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) without his consent.

Earlier, primary healthcare centers were working under the authority of provincial health department.

He stressed that he could have given a better solution had his opinion was sought regarding splitting of his health department.
